: i think this question has been answered before, but i can't seem to find the post.

: i have a 99 m3 w/ ~8900 miles on it. on deceleration, without braking, there is a whirring sound when the rpms get under 2k in 1st gear. i have never noticed this before and it just started happenning recently. the sound from the inside of the car is almost like that of honda's going in reverse. the radio controlled car type of sound. if anyone can offer some help, i'l appreciate it. thanks.

: -alex
