It's very straight forward and easy to do.

I did have a problem after installing mine. The OBC read: "TAIL LIGHT FAILURE"! I finally traced the problem down to a poor connection in one of the light bulb holders by using process of elimination with the OE light bulb holders and lamps. The strange thing about my little problem was that "all" the light bulbs lit up as they should!

I don't know if this is true or not but I am told that using a brand of light bulb other than what BMW uses will sometimes create a failure notice on the OBC for the lights. If this is true, it must check for open circuits as well as proper resistence of the filament and some filaments are rated at a voltage and resistance just enough to cause a notice.

Again, it's very easy. You'll really like the looks. It's amazing how much better and cleaner the car looks by just getting rid of that small amount of amber color.

: I will be receiving my rear clear corners soon. Any hints on installation other than checking my Owner's Manual.

: Thanks
