Like Bob said, it's really easy...

All you have to do is take the plastic covers off the back, then take one of the hex wrenchs out of your tool kit and I think there are about 3 or 4 screws to take off.
Also, you need to disconnect the plug that goes into the lights.
Next you need to push out the whole assembly... with my car I found that the gaskets were kind of sticky, so it might take a little force...
then put in the clear taillight assembly and reverse the procedure.
That should be it.
