* Autocross: stock 17x7.5 & 17x8.5 wheels, Hoosier 225/45-17 and 245/40-17 R3S03 race tires. 8.5" front wheels would offer a traction advantage, but I'd have to buy an additional set of stock wheels.

One suggestion - if you're only going to autocross, I would use the A3S03 Hoosiers instead of the 'R' tires. The 'A' compounds are designed specifically for better autocross performance - they're softer and heat up faster than the 'R' tires. The 'R' compound tires are designed for track use.

One other thing - with 8.5" stock rims up front with Hoosiers, you would need 10mm hubcentric spacers for the tires to clear the spring perches.
