I bought a certified P.O. 95 M3 w/58k miles. Within a month a fuel sending unit was replaced. 4 months later the water pump went. Both were covered ($50 deductible applied).

All C.P.O. cars have a limited warranty that extends for 2 years after new car warranty expires. It's not as comprehensive as the new car warranty, but it's "free". In other words, they pass along the cost of certifying the car (which gives you the warranty) by charging more for the car.

Since I've had to use the warranty twice already, I'm getting a little scared, because my warranty ends this November.
