I'd be up for it. I know of a nice place but it's a bit of a hike. It's just west of Elgin off of IL route 47. About 6 miles south of the Huntly Outlet mall (I 90)
My parents live out there so it might be possible to arrange a BBQ so we can let the cars cool down.
The place is only a 3-6 mile lap but there are some fun s curves that are worth doing over and over.
Everything else out there is pretty baron but these twisties are a blast. Plus there are a few good 2-3 miles stretches with no telephone poles, crossroads, houses, or anything else that would make 160mph dangerous besides a ditch and a corn field (I'm not recommending it but it's straight, smooth, and clear)
Hell I could even bring a G-tech out and we can run #'s on various mods.
Here is a map of the road I'm talking about.
: i was planning on doing a ///m run last summer before i came to school, but alas, it never happened. i'm coming home in a few weeks with my m3 and i was just wondering how many chicago are ///m-thusiasts there are on this board. and also, how many would be insterested in doing a run somewhere. someone else would have to pick the roads though as i really don't know that many good roads in illinois/wisconsin. =)
