After you're done with the simple green, and the motor has had a chance to dry, spray the entire engine compartment with a light coat of armorall.(except, of course, the fan belt!) Let it
sit overnight and the next day everything looks brand new. If some parts are to glossy for you, try wiping some off with a dry cloth.
