: I have found a 1997 m3/4 for 23,000 dollars. The only thing is is that it has 80,000 miles. Is 80,000 miles to much? Also how many miles could i get out of it before I would start to have trouble? I just wanted to know every ones opinion.

I also have a 97 2dr with 75000 miles ,still runs amazing... I will do the inspection 2 @80,000 miles. No major repairs have been done, always have changed the oil @3500 miles, car looks and runs as tight as it did new.I say go for it ,get the extended warranty get any information as to how the miles came about, hghwy or city and see what has been done to the car as far as inspections. Good luck
