: I have an 08/95 M3 with the UUC clutch stop installed and it works great, I've had no problems with any side play in the pedal. Did you have play in the pedal before you installed the clutch stop?

: I think that there are two possibilities here: something mechanical is bent in your pedal linkage, or there is a hydraulic problem. Since you mentioned that the travel is greatly elongated, I would lean toward a hydraulic problem as the culprit. When was the last time you changed the clutch/brake fluid? According to Bentley at least, the problems you describe are usually attributed to old corrupted fluid and possibly damaged hydraulic parts. Try flushing the fluid (or have the $tealer do it) and see what happens, it certainly couldn't hurt.

: To the best of my knowledge, the throw is not adustable, so this is all I can think of. Hope this helps.

: Ken
