He has all the original speaker locations untouched, and all the factory wiring and amp.

Unfortunately, I don't want the car with his system in it. The entire trunk and spare tire area is taken up with amps and subwoofers. I have to be able to get my golf bag in the trunk.

I suggested leaving the head unit, but he said it is a top of the line Alpine ($1000 with 4V preout?) and he would like to take it with him.

But he said the car did not come with a changer, but says it has the H/K system. So I'm stumped. Does the base stereo have "H/K" written on the speakers? If so, I'm willing to bet he had the stock stereo originally.
