THANKYOU VERY VERY MUCH! =)

: For the fuel door to lock, the doublelock feature of your car must be activated. With doublelock the doors, trunk, and fuel door lock. Have the installer insert a 1 amp diode between the lock and unlock outputs from the alarm unit and a second diode inline with the unlock output before the junction of the first diode. The BMW computer needs a +12v pulse at BOTH lock and unlock inputs to activate the doublelock feature. So that when you arm the unit a +12v lock pulse is sent to both lock/unlock inputs. The first diode allows this to happen and the second diode blocks the backfeed to the unlock output of the alarm unit. When you disarm the unit, a +12v unlock pulse is sent only to the unlock input and the first diode blocks the +12v unlock pulse to the lock input. I used (2) 1N4004 diodes. I can sketch a wiring diagram of how these diodes are wired on monday. fax number?

: : I will give those instructions to them. Is there anything else I should tell them, ie instructions? thanks a lot!

: : : i>: Because I just got my Viper 800esp put in and everything works fine, EXCEPT the guy told me that there is NO WAY that they could get the fuel door actuator to lock! He said he called DEI and CLIFFORD and they both said that it's NOT POSSIBLE! THIS REALLY SUCKS because instead of getting a sense of peace, I am no annoyed that someone can put something into my GAS TANK! (*sigh*) =(
