Even though the extended warranty cost $1800, they are replacing the radiator, water pump, and thermostat.

It looks like the extended warranty will pay off in the long run. :)

: Not sure about the radiator, but the water pump and labor is covered under the 100k mile warranty. Unfortunately the thermostat is not. I think I spent around 210.00 when my pump went south a few weeks ago.

: : Last night I was driving my 8/95 M3 and all of a sudden the temp gauge was in the red. I immediately turned it off to prevent any damage (hopefully).

: : I had it towed to the dealership last night for a night drop off.

: : I am wondering what the problem could be? The coolant level is fine, but I can definitely hear a sound from the engine that is not normal. Plastic Water impeller? Any insight is appreciated.
