I ran the power lead under the headliner where it meets the windshield... over to the A pillar, tucked it under the molding and ran it down below the dash... there's a small gap in the driver's kick panel... ran the cable throug there and up over the driver's footwell panel. Have not yet wired it in perm, just powering it thru the cig lighter plug-in attachment. This wiring installation is very neat and not at all noticable, except or the 4" lead sticking out above the rearview mirror.

I use the suction cup mount, and put the unit to the left of the mirror, place so it looks just under the tint band. It seems to operate just fine up there, and is out of my line of sight, and is not very noticable outside. Also, I can easily remove the unit when nec.

My remote display placement is still undecided. Initially, I thought I'd like it on the left side of the driver's knee panel. Placed there, I can easilly see it through the gaps in the steering wheel. But I decided agains that, and placed it in the sunglass tray under the OBC. It has to be just right, or my arm blocks the view.

I think I'm going to stick it in the gauge cluster, right in front of the ASC light, but I don't fully like that either.

One thing's for sure: I feel really self conscious when there's someone behind me at night, and all those big bright arrows start flashing!
