Is it worth having CPO M3 have factory alarm (more (archive)

Is it worth the extra warranty to get the dealership to install the factory alarm on an 98 M3? I am assuming that if I get it installed prior to taking delivery it will be covered by the Certified Pre Owned warranty. What is a good price for it? Thanks guys.

BTW, I am not a DIY guy so the only question is what price one dealership will give over another rather than what I can save by DIYing. I would if I could but..not for me at least.

Am I wrong in assuming that it would be covered by the same warranty or would it be no different that the std. one year warranty on any factory part installed after taking delivery?
