May be an obvious answer but really I found the prices at the dealerships pretty competitive. I recently signed up for an M3 and cant say that I know for sure about pricing MCoupes. I found private sellers' expectations unrealistic sometimes. ACtually my ultimate deal was not that great but the car was just what I wanted etc. etc. and it is easier to deal with dealers sometimes!!! But then I got one with 14k miles and I was able to see all service records etc.

Of course you will always in theory get a better deal from a private seller but it is sometimes easier to locate and get CPO etc.

: Anyone have an angle on where the best place might be to locate a 98 or 99 M3 Conv that is for sale?
