This may be related to a leak caused by a loose hose or pipe fitting. This was the cause of my 97's cool but not cold AC problem some months ago. Have the dealer check for a leak and get the refrigerant topped off. Good luck.

I tried to post a similar reponse minutes ago but that posting disappeared. If it surfaces, then this is redundant.

: i have a 98 M3/4 and i noticed lately that my AC is not getting as cold as i remember. i have the AC set to 60, which is the lowest, and i have it on recirculate, but it still satys fairly warm in the car, could i have a problem????
