At some point I will upgrade my crappy stock-US-excuse-for-headlights to the ellipsoids. I like to drive late at night... we've got a lot of nice long twisty roads around here. But I notice that when moving into a left-hand curve, I have a very limited sight distance, due to the low projection of the stock beam.

Question: did your ellipsoid upgrade offer significant improvement in a situation like this?
