: the oil is free also

No dealer is going to give away the oil. If he did, are your sure you'd want it?

Last week I took my car in for just an oil change, and I inquired about the meaning of "oil service". The service writer said that the oil service (not just an oil change, mind you), includes Kendall 10w40 mineral oil & filter, and they also top off the fluids in the tranny and diff. They also check the belts and hoses. Don't know what the charge is, but I'd guess around 100 bucks.
