Hi guys. My M3/4 got rear-ended a month ago and I need to take my car in for repairs. My insurance company, Farmer's Insurance, has given me a list of "reputable shops in the area" that they recommend me take my car to.

Do I have the option of going to the dealer for the repairs? I don't trust third-parties when it comes to my car.

The damage is probably around $3,000. This is a leased car. Should I notify BMW Financial services, etc.? I don't want to get jacked when I turn the car in. I can hear it now ... "you owe use $5K in damages because your car was not fixed right."

Any other advice is greatly appreciated.
