I absolutely love it. I went with Jim's system for several reasons. One big reason is that his system will work with euro ellipsoids that have been converted to HID's. With the ecis system you HAVE to get a smaller K&N cone filter, as opposed to their 9" cone. This did not make me very happy. With Jim's system you get his programming which obviously you don't get with the ecis system, but I'm sure ecis's chip is very good.. anyone know who programs the chips for them? I'm not sure what test the guy who posted below saw, but the dyno's I've seen show Jim's euro HFM system producing 30 HP on 95 M3's. Correct me if I'm wrong but ecis claims somewhere around 21 HP. YMMV. I also LOVE the looks of the ITG filter, it's all business and it's been on the racing circuits for years and finally making it to our BMW's. I was able to use the HUGE ITG filter, not a smaller one because of my euro/HID's, this made me very happy :) The installation and looks of this system is awesome. It's all black and is ALL business.

I'm sure either system will make you happy, so maybe you should check on availabilty. Someone on the board mentioned that Jim's Euro HFM system was back ordered till late this summer, but I have not called to verify this as my system is already in! Good luck and happy shopping!

: Which intake would you guys recommend for my 98? I have heard good things about both, but I cant seem to make up my mind. Although the price on the ECIS does make it more attractive...

: I have a Remus exhaust right now, and will be upgrading to Jim C or Dinan software by August.

: Please HELP!

: Thanks,
: John
