I thought the premium for the 8080E's $$ over the 8000 for the factory M sizes was a bit excessive and switched to Yokos.

My wife has a slug of a 190 MB that couldn't spin the tires on ice. She which went through a set of D60's (Consumer Reports Best Buy) in 16,000 miles - so long Dumflop...........

: Am picking up my 98 M3 this week and want to know what the standard tyres were on this model. It is going to be a precertified one but dealer told me that while prepping car they noticed that two of them needed replacement and so they got new ones. Car has only 14K miles. Is that all they last. they may have replaced it based on my telling them that since spare seemed used, perhaps one of the tires was fixed resulting in it losing its performance rating. So they may have been doing it because of that request. Anyway, I was not going to complain.

: If possible please give me exact name of tyre that I am supposed to look for. I am familiar with SO-2s which I have on my 328i but I think it is Michelin here though am unsure about exact type. thanks for constructive feedback
