so may cases of Ms which used to consume the common 1 qt per 1-2K miles, which over time slowed down, and finally stopped, and the result seemed to be completely independant of what wt oil was used. Even in your case, didnt you take that long trip cross country with one of the heavier oils...and didnt you experience the least consumption you had experienced yet? So, I dont hink you can say it was Light oils which solved your problem.. Besides, if anything, it has been traditionally assumed that ltwt oils would burn MORE, not Less than heavy wt oils.
