: I was talking about the blades off of the supercharger's fan. They sheared off and got stuffed into my motor.: : After my Vortech blower from RMS started making a horrible grating noise, and the car died, I had the blower pulled. As it turns out, the bearings when out on the fan so suddenly that parts of the fan blades sheared off from slapping the housing on the supercharger. These metal shards may have bent a valve or worse. The tip of the #6 spark plug was broken off and even after we put new plugs in, the car misses badly under acceleration. Unless the bigger Ford SVO injectors that came with the kit are making the car run way too rich, I f'd up my engine. Unfortunately, RMS says they only warranty the blower, and don't pay for collateral damage caused by the blower going up in smoke. That means I may be paying up to $1,500 for valve work. Just thought you guys ought to know.

: : Peter, I dont quite understand what happened...You mean the engine fan's bearings went, and caused the fan to blow up? If so, why is the Supercharger at fault? Wouldnt it be the fault of the fan, which is a bMW piece, no? OR , are you talking about the supercharger blades? Please clarify...
