You paid the ticket...which if you read it, states that you are pleading guilty to the crime.

Your original court appearance is not mailing in the is going down to the courthouse.

After that you should have a trial within 45 days.

What rights were violated? You plead guilty making your plea date and the court date the same.

The 9/14 could be your opportunity to enter a plea(which is what the first court date is in MN) and then you have another trial after that if you plead not guilty. That is your opportunity to bagain with the DA.

Don't ask me how I know this...ok I was racing a cop in my volvo station wagon(which later failed) but that was the procedure...and since me and my buddies always go to court, we have it down pretty well. I seem to be the only one that hasn't been thrown in jail because of it.
