Care to expand on your vivid and detailed wording? Inquiring minds want to know.

By stupid do you mean it looks stupid or am I to interpret "stupid $$$" because its a waste of money and the money is better used elsewhere (ECIS/MKMS CF heatshield joint venture), or all of the above?

If you plan to post, please clarify so we can all understand.

Thank you.

: : If you look on the US LTW there is a CF glove box insert.

: : If you look on the Euro CSL there is also a CF center console as well. There are also CF ashtrays.

: : Aftermarket stuff stuff looks too tacked on to me. But I heard the BMW looks great!

: : : I see what you are saying. When CF is added after-market, it does look "cheap" in most cases. But have you ever seen a Porsche CF interior? WOW. Very nice. I guess since BMW doesn't offer factory CF trim, we are ALL wanna-bee's!

: : : Why CF if not for just looks? WEIGHT! In racers, CF is a significant weight advantage, without giving up durability and tensile strength. ALso, for engine/exhaust parts, heat dissapation (sp?)is great- that's why Dinan uses CF for their CAI.
