: I have a 95 M3 and filled the car up last weekend (empty light on) and the gas gauge is still showing the light on.

: I put $28 of gas in the gauge showed full, then the next time I drove it (2 days) it keep showing the empty position and light. What gives??? Anyone else have this funky gas gauge problem on their M3...

: TIA

Sean, I had this exact problem...Actually, its very common, and alot of folks experience it with the E36. I'll bet you had the key in the ignition when you filled it up, right? Take it out. Not just off, but Out! I'll bet the problem stops. To immediately reset, remove a fuse, I think its number 31, but dbl check me on that...Then, just refuel with the key in your pocket.
