Correct. Stock for stock, the M5 will just walk away. The math is simple:
M3: 200 RWHP, 3325 lbs = 16.6 lbs/hp
M5: 350 RWHP, 4125 lbs = 11.8 lbs/hp

My M5 walked away from my 275 RWHP M3aC (13.3 lbs/hp) as well, though not terribly quickly.
