: : : Please rate the importance you place on the "looks" of your M3 and the "performance" of your car. (Rate which you personally care more about.)

: : I work very hard to keep my car looking PERFECT. However, it also looks almost completely STOCK. Only appearance-related mods have been a lighted wood shift knob, removing the M3 badge and painting the grill on the front air dam black ('95's came with it painted body color - ugly on anything except a black car). I personally think most of the purely cosmetic mods (clear lenses, carbon fiber, yada yada) are a waste of $ so to the extent "looks" = "flashy" or "obviously modified" I'd have to say that looks are extremely UNimportant.
