Well, I might argue that Houston has the worst roads that I've ever driven on! I certainly think that they are worse than the roads in N.O.

Actually the worst part about driving an M3 from Houston to N.O. will be the trip on I-10! The section of the interstate from just west of Beaumont to just east of Lake Charles will beat you to death!

(BTW, I live between Houston & N.O. so I'm pretty familiar with both.)

: I was on a road trip from Cali to visit alll the states. Personaly I think New Orleans, LA. and New York City has the worst roads in the whole country. In New Orleans you will find pot holes size of a large pizza, pavement joints that would rattle your teeth, and very possibly bend your M wheels. I'm lucky to survive New Orleans with out any damage to my M forged wheels.

: As far as the safety of your M3, I had no problem parking mine along side of the streets. However, I found one car with a broken window on the same street where I parked my M, but nothing seem to be taken from it.

: Good luck

: ile: and is it safe for my ///M or just rent a beater car.
