Brake Fade @ Buttonwillow... (archive)

I just got back from a day at Buttonwillow. Towards the end of the day, my brakes started to fade and the brake pedal got soft and mushy. I'm guessing that I need to bleed the air out of the fluid, and probably just replace the fluid. But I'm not sure about the pads and rotors. My car only has 12,000 miles on it, and I was wondering about repairing the brakes under warranty. Am I crazy? Will the dealer think I'm crazy if I bring my car in?

If Jim Bassett is reading this, what did you do when your car needed servicing after all those track schools.

I might want to upgrade the pads to PF90s, but what will the stealer say. Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated.
