You should take it to the dealer if still under warranty. Otherwise you need to do the following.

Unhook the speaker and check to see if there is sound going to it by connecting that speakers wires to a speaker you know works properly. If the test speaker works you need a new speaker. If still no sound make sure the wiring is correctly connected both coming out of your receiver and at the speaker, if still no sound your receiver is the problem and you need to replace it. Not sure if it could be repaired or if it would be worthwhile to do so.

Good luck,
V

: Hi guys,

: I was driving my 97 M3 this afternoon with my stereo on when I hit this
: little bump on the road.

: Suddenly the speaker went off and there's no sound coming out from the
: speaker anymore.

: I tried to turn off the engine, turn it back on and turn on the stereo
: again. But there's nothing coming out of the speaker at all.

: Have this happened to any of you guys? What should I do?

: Thanx in advance,
: pin :)
