: For a 95M3? Whats the difference between the evo vs original ss? And where could i get it installed?

The difference between the competition and competition•evo is the cartridge bearing system used in the lower pivot of the shift lever.

You can read all about this at:
http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/html_product/bmw_shifters/html_bmw_shifters/new_developments.htm

The net effect is the smoothest, most precise shifting possible in a BMW. By changing the lower pivot from a compression-load bearing fit (where the driver has to fit the lever to overcome the friction) to a free-moving assembly, there is a noticeable reduction in shift force.

Of course, details on all UUC products are availanble at www.uucmotorwerks.com"
