you need to find out where it's rubbing, check your rear shocks and alignment. 235/40 should not rub at all, i'm running 255/35 and no rubbing. i used to run 235/40 and no rubbing also.

: I just put on some H&R sports w/ the 10mm spring pads on my 95 M3. I already had bilsteins and 18" MAS italy wheels running 235/40 18. Yes, I know that the tire size is off, but they are hella cheap compared to the 235/35's. Anyways, the wheels would rub pretty often until i rolled the fenders. I still get some rubbing when I go over really huge bumps and dips. I called tire rack about the rubbing and they suggested that i can return the springs for the H&R OE sports. I know they lower it a little less than the sport springs, but are the same stiffness. So my question is should I return the Sports and install the OE sports instead? THanks
