ASC (Automatic Slip Control) only worked on torque reduction.
ASC+T (Automatic Slip Control plus Traction) worked on torque reduction and rear brakes. Mainly for longitudinal stability.
DSC (Dynamic Stability Control ) worked on torque reduction, rear brakes. Mainly for lateral stability such as under/oversteer.
DSC+T, no such thing or at least from what I know.
DSC+X, this version of DSC, I believe, will be used on the upcoming E46 all wheel drive 3-series.
The X5 still uses DSCIII but added a few more features.
