Did it myself on my '94 325i. Isn't hard at all but the hood switch is difficult to locate. Install took me a couple hours being very careful and the alarm works very well, excellent range. Use a hair drier or heat gun to loosen the insulation that you have to remove and if you have a drill press it is easier to make the 2 holes more neatly. E-mail me if you have specific questions.
