When the Honda lost it he cliped the Toyota. Thus a "hit". The Toyota driver fled after the crash and thus the "run". An off duty policeman saw the accident and followed him and called the California Highway Patrol who made the arrest.

I should add that the Toyota driver worked for the Toyota dealer in Salinas, Califonira. He "borrowed" the 2000 Toyota from his employer. Yes, it was a brand new car. The Toyota driver is also charged with theft of the Toyota. His employer will also more then likely get sued as a result of this little race.

Kinda like dumb and dumber don't you think?
