97 M3 Sedan - Water draining on driver (archive)

I recently purchased this 97 M3 Sedan. I went around a off camber on ramp( pretty aggressively ) and I had water pour onto my gas pedal and foot when the car was mid corner. I'm sure there are many possibilties that would cause this but I would like to know if anyone has had this happen before and what would be the best way of finding out what caused this to occur.
