: I recently purchased this 97 M3 Sedan. I went around a off camber on ramp( pretty aggressively ) and I had water pour onto my gas pedal and foot when the car was mid corner. I'm sure there are many possibilties that would cause this but I would like to know if anyone has had this happen before and what would be the best way of finding out what caused this to occur.

Check the plastic cowl which covers the base of the windshield. I've seen many a bmw with a deteriorated cowl. I also understand that some cars fall victim to high pressure car wash. The water actually got into one car's DME. It's in the archives somewhere.
