In Reply to: Can anyone explain why my '95 Lux has ten-spokes? posted by (m) ttaM3 on June 20, 2000 at 11:21:23:

My guess is that your M3 had the wheels swapped by the dealer. Why? I don't know. But I remember seeing your car on the lot, with brand new pirelli p7000 supersports and the 10 spoke. Maybe there was a bent rim? But I'm guessing they might have replaced the wheels and tires and didn't order the correct wheels, or they had a spare set sitting around and had to put new tires on it, so slapped those on. Or maybe the previous opted for the 10 spoke over the contours... can't see that happening. Anyway call me up, and let's get a 4 way M3 run going this weekend! :)

: : : i didnt even think the contours were available in 95

: : Did the original purchaser opt for them? Were contours really standard for '95 Lux's? Just curious as to why my Lux has the ten-spoke rims...

: TIA,
