that's why I didn't buy the JC intake. The carbon fiber is great, but makes no HP, just weight, strenght diff and lessens heat conductivity. Those ITG filters have a good rep. w/ formula 1, but to me, it looks and feels like the stuff they pack computers in. The foam probably will become brittle w/ wear and tear and normal heat buildup. Also, read that at full throttle the ITG may tighten up and restrict air flow.
Got a K&N filter w/ ECIS heat shield best $225 I ever spent. I like JIm's chip, but come on $450 bux for the shield and intake, forget it!
