: after taking my car to a body shop (replaced the hood...hit and run, long story), i noticed that my engine and everything else under the hood has white specks on it. I assume this is overspray from painting. Is there anyway to remove this to clean the engine to make it like new? How do I clean the engine? What do I have to cover if I have to at all? Is spraying it with water ok or do I use something like simple green? Thanx for any help!
