What I'm saying is that the M3 was built for performance where the integra's and civis are designed more for economy. They can be easily modified with the thousands of aftermarket parts out there to run with beamers, out of the box they're not exactly ready for the track. A lot of the design decisions from my understanding were made for economy, comfort of ride, noise, etc...
: : : : One thing I have noticed about the M3 as opposed to the integra and other honda's is that the many parts dont' necessarily need to be changed to get gains. For example the stock exhaust is very good and doesn't need to be changed. I think that probably same goes for headers.
: : : : : Well, thats what I heard too... but how come they are the dominant HP gains on other imports? For instance... adding a header to my prev. car which was and Integra gave it the most noticeable hp gain. And the headers were before teh cats as well. SO, who knows? If they werent soo expensive, I would give it a try.
