be careful when installing the splitter (that's what the small strip is called). it comes with a set of seven clips that must be attached to opposite side of the air dam. unless you have a a drill that can make a 3/4 inch square hole, have your dealer install it. they may want several hundred dollars. you CAN'T just screw it on. remember the splitter creates downforce, meaning at speed there could be 75 pounds or more trying to rip it off the air dam. that's why it requires the special clips. my advice is that since it's going to cost you hundreds anyway, go all out and get the racing dynamics splitter. good luck.
