See post below about this subject. I quote this person, "for the 10th time this month ALL 95 M3's HAVE THE PLASTIC IMPELLER!" Apparently this guy knows the facts behind this uncertainty.

: Are you saying your car is a 10/95 production date? If yes, you probably don't have the plastic impeller. From what I understand, post 10/95's have steel impellers and the updated valve retainers that later models had.

: Since I also have a 10/95 car and haven't actually checked this, I would like to know too if that is not true.


: : By now, I'd be stupid not to know about the whole plastic impeller thing. I guess I'll get that replaced. Any idea how much we're talking (labor/parts)? My car has 42.5k miles on it. Inspection II was done at 32k.
