I started out changing the pads, rotors, brake lines and brake fluid.

Porterfield R4S pads
Powerslot gas-slotted rotors
steel braided teflon brake lines
ATE Super Blue

I can definitely brake later than M3's that have the factory setup and brake fade was non-existent. This was proven at a NASA 2-day track school.

The next step would be to replace the stock calipers with a 4 or 6 piston caliper setup (i.e. AP Racing, Brembo).
