: any good stealth ideas / solutions? i'd like to mount it (hide it) permanently and use the remote display. i've got a few ideas, but i'm wondering what others have done. TIA

First, I like to be able to remove my v1, so I use the suction cup mount. I tucked the cable behind where the headliner meets the glass, and ran it over to the A pillar, around the curve, then tucked it under the molding, all the way down, 1/2 below the dash. Down there, you'll see where there's a joint in the kick panel. Around there somewhere, I tucked the cable up into the panel over the driver's feet. I ran it to the right, where it now hangs out and plugs into the lighter adapter.

I plan to permanently wire it... just haven't gotten around to it yet. I wanted to find a switched circuit in the console, but the dealer mechanic recommended against it. He said that the cig lighter cable would be best, but it's not switched.

I've tried quite a few spots for the remote, including placing it in front of the ASC light, velcro-ing it to the left knee panel, where I can see it through the hole in the steering wheel. I've even tried removing the coin holder, and placing it there, but my arm's in the way, and it's too far to move my eyes.

For me, the best place is in the junk well under the OBC.
