Problem is, the noise comes back often. Evertime I engage my e-brake when parked, I have to issue the yank technique when I drive next. Any ideas???

Well honestly, I got lucky in case probably.
It took a few good times up and down the street for the unit to right itself. (About what 20 min. of driving up and down the block.)

I'm sure the dealer won't rake you over the coals too bad and since it probably is a floaitng piece, it shouldn't be too big of a pain to right it.

Good luck and wish I could help more.
