: I agree with Chris; it shouldn't be a problem with the copper head gasket. Something in the cooling system isn't flowing well. Maybe the water pump impeller is bad, or the radiator is plugged. Or, the thermostat isn't opening fully (or even a slipping water pump belt). Lots of things you can check here.

: I'm curious about the gasket you installed. Was it just a plain copper gasket? Or was it installed in conjunction with a stock head gasket. Do you know the thickness of it? What about the cost?
