BMW dealers use the BMW weights and keep them in stock. Usually these weights are not the "painted" gray weights but are raw lead instead. Nevertheless, they are BMW weights.

You will not know the actual weight of the wheel weights you will need for each wheel/tire until they are mounted and on the balancing machine so it will be next to impossible to have the proper weights available.

Most tire dealers will use common type stick-on wheel weight that doesn't have the same look as the ones BMW uses. Many people will put any weights on the inside or the wheel so they don't show but that's a whole other story!

Personally, I will use my BMW dealer to mount and balance my wheels/tires because they do it all the time for their used cars and know how "not" to damage the wheels. Your wheels may not be BMW brand however or you may have someone you trust more that will be mounting the tires for you.

I think awhile back someone posted the BMW wheel balance
weight (the factory one).
Anyone know where I can get one, cause my tires is in need
for balance.
Thanks for helping.
