Has anyone used the 3M polyurethane rock chip protection for your hood or foglights or mirrors?

How much did you pay for it?
Did you apply it yourself? If so, how easy was it?
Had any problems with it yellowing or coming up?
Does the car need to be waxed before application?
Any thoughts on this concept?

Thanks -
